The UBAD Educational Foundation, UEF, was established in 1996 as an offshoot of UBAD representing the organization’s shift to educational opportunities and cultural awareness, but the principles of knowledge and self-determination remain the same. U.E.F. is focused on schooling primarily for marginalized African-Belizean youth within the library located at 3304 Partridge St, and through popular education. UEF holds events year round, liberating education from the confines of a building, and encouraging people to analyze their conditions and be moved to action.
In 2021 alone, UEF hosted 40 Community Zoom Meetings designed to shine light on overlooked issues of consequence for Afrikan Belizeans.The following are the links for some of these Community Conversations:
